TL;DR
Using MetaMask, you can store and manage your crypto assets. All your tokens and contracts can be accessed with a single click. Metamask connects by default to the Ethereum mainnet.
A network like BNB Smart Chain (BNB) will need a few pieces of information to be connected to Metamask, including the chain ID, the custom RPC URL, and the network name. Below, you will find all of this information.
Adding a chain to Metamask is a skill that is transferrable from this tutorial. The same steps can also be followed to add other EVM networks, such as Polygon.
Introduction
In order to access the BNB Smart Chain ecosystem, you must have a wallet that is comaptible with this blockchain. However, MetaMask does not have BNB Smart Chain as default therefore you must add the network.
Adding BNB Smart Chain to MetaMask will allow you to interact with different dApps on BNB Smart Chain. If you didn't have this network set up you could lose your funds by sending them to an address you can't use. Fortunately for us, setting up BNB Smart Chain is a simple task that can be done fairly quickly.
