What Are Art Gobblers?
According to Art Gobblers, they are building “An experimental decentralized art factory.” They essentially want to create a self-sustaining NFT ecosystem capable of standing on its own.
Though most details can be found on the project’s whitepaper, this 2,000 Gobbler NFT collection “gobble art”. In other words, they eat the art that artists create using the project’s drawing tools. These drawings could then be turned into 1-of-1 NFTs using the in-project resources.
As for the project's roadmap, it has none. Instead, it seeks to create a flywheel effect, where artists within the ecosystem make appealing art thus growing the cultural influence and relevance of the Art Gobblers. This in turn would drive more attention to the artists who are incentivized to create better and more appealing art. In other words, the flywheel effect.
Art Gobblers | Four Project Components
Here are the four primary components for this project:
Gobblers
These are the NFT characters who “gobble art”. 2,000 of them were minted today for free and a certain amount are set to launch in set intervals until there are 10,000 Gobblers in existence. (Priced in $GOO)
Goo
Goo is created by Gobblers and is the token needed to create Blank Pages. Goo can also be used to create new Gobblers.
Blank Pages
These are canvases that artists can use to create art. Blank Pages also allow artists to create 1/1 drawings into the ecosystem through a process called “glamination.” The NFTs will belong to the artists that create the art.
Art
Art is created on the blank pages. This is also the primary driving force of the ecosystem. If the project attracts quality artists then demand will increase and artists are incentivized to create better and more art.
