NFT Market - Trading volume in the NFT space refers to the amount of crypto exchanged for that particular NFT collection. It is a great indicator of how many people are aware of the project as it reveals the money spent on it. Over the last 24 hrs, Art Gobblers has taken the number one spot from CryptoPunks as the NFT with the highest volume traded.

Instagram building NFT Marketplace that will let users Mint and Sell NFTs
Instagram has spoken! Starting this week it will allow a select few creators to mint and sell NFTs directly from the social media platform.
Quick Facts:
📷 Instagram's NFT Marketplace will be available only to a few creators
🪙 The marketplace will not charge any gas fees
🤑 Youo can sell, buy, and trade your NFTs through this marketplace
This comes after the social media app launched a feature where users can connect their crypto wallets and showcase their NFTs. The connected NFTs could then be shown on your feed which includes a shimmery effect to indicate authenticity. Not bad.
This latest update will allow creators to create and sell their NFTs over the marketplace. This new marketplace will initially be launched on Polygon blockchains and will be tested by a small group of creators.
The creators will also be allowed to their royalty percentage, between 5%-25%. I guess this is what meta means when it wants to build the metaverse.
Warner Bros. Discovery and HBO Announce Game of Thrones NFTs
Winter is coming but this time into the NFT space. Game of Thrones has announced that they will be launching their own NFT collection this winter.
Warner Bros. Discovery and HBO, the parent company behind this hit tv-series, announced that they have partnered with NFT platform Nifty to launch digital-collectible NFTs based on the hit series. This is sure to capture some fan attention.
Although the launch date has not been revealed, fans can expect "Game of Thrones" NFTs to be launched in late 2022.
Game of Thrones will also allow fans to "Build Your Realm" by collecting collectibles inspired by the series as well as other collectibles like "weapons", "companions", and "gear." Check out Nifty's blog which goes into more detail about this.
Other NFTs will include special moments of the popular series, locations, and characters. This is likely to generate a bunch of hype due to the number of fans this hit series has.
Art Gobblers Make Massive Debut Onto The NFT Scene
Art Gobblers, an NFT project created by Rick & Morty co-creator Justin Roiland and Web3 VC Firm Paradigm, have taken the NFT world by storm with their recent launch. In the first 24 hrs since their launch, they have done more than $17 million in trading volume on Opensea.
According to NFTstatistics.eth, this project catapulted itself into the top ten projects for total ETH volume despite only being out for an hour.
The project gained instant success due to its unique ideas and VC backing of a top Web3 crypto firm Paradigm. According to its website, it wants to create "an experimental decentralized art factory." Here is everything we know about this NFT project.
Quick Facts:
Art Gobblers was created by Justin Roiland in collaboration with Web3 VC Firm Paradigm
This NFT project has taken the NFT world by storm, generated more than $17 million in secondary market sales in the first day
Gobblers are Profile Pictures (PFP), and they can create Goo, the token required to create new art
Blank Pages allow artists to mint 1/1 drawings into the ecosystem through a process called “glamination”
Not a bad start for Art Gobblers!
GameStop adding Gaming NFTs to its Marketplace
GameStop has added support for NFTs minted via Ethereum layer-2 scaling network, Immutable X, to its NFT marketplace allowing users to trade, buy, and sell from Web3 games.
Immutable X games such as Illuvium, Gods Unchained, and Guild of Guardians are some of the gaming titles that have their respective NFTs available to trade on GamesSop's NFT marketplace.
GameStop launched its NFT marketplace back in July but you could only trade digital artwork and collectibles. With the addition of Immutable X users have a vast array of options when it comes to trading in-game assets and NFTs.
As for GameStop NFT, they are offering users 1% of their daily trading volume in the form of IMX tokens in order to incentive them to use their platform. Nevertheless, they are still well behind more established platforms like Opensea. Perhaps with the new Web3 addition that will eventually change.
Chef Curry Cooking "Curryverse"
It seems as if basketball is not the only thing Steph Curry has been cooking up lately. NBA megastar Steph Curry filed a “Curryverse” trademark application on Oct. 26th.
According to the filing, the “Curryverse” will provide an online gaming experience in the virtual world where players will have the opportunity to earn NFTs. The application as well covers a host of other items such as clothing and goods, and charitable fundraising services among a host of other things.
Curry isn't new to the NFT space, being a proud owner of a Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT he bought for $206,000.
The idea for his metaverse will also likely track attention due to his 47 million followers on Instagram and 17 million more on Twitter. If we judge by the community alone then this is a project that should be on anyone's watchlist. We will see whether he will be draining in NFT success the same way drains those threes.
